Erik is a professional marketing and media executive with over three decades of experience and passion for media. Founding the agency in 1989, Erik has built an exceptional foundation of media expertise across all channels.
Modco's business focus has been in three main areas: Luxury Goods: (HarryWinston, Ferrari, The Swatch Group, LVMH, Swiss International Airlines and others), Videogames: (TakeTwo Interactive (publishers of Grand Theft Auto), and Retail Apparel (DXL, Dress Barn, Chico’s, WhiteHouse/Black Market, True Religion Jeans, etc.). Most recent growth has been in financial services, developing the BrightHouse Financial account as well as creating interactive and social media strategies for Fortune 500 companies like Verizon, Comcast NBC and Genworth Financial and full service brand extensions for clients like Alex and Ani, Joe Fresh and Hunter Boots.
Erik has appeared on CNN, Fox News Channel and is a frequent contributor to the Wall Street Journal. He is an active member of the Luxury Marketing Council and a frequent lecturer at Steinway University. He was a trustee of the New York Hall of Science for nearly a decade and three time chair for the New York City Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization, now a member of YPO Gold.
