We’ve invested over $600M in promoting more than 90 titles over the past 16 years. That’s a lot of learnings across many different genres, game categories and consumer targets. We use media dollars to build and sustain 2K Games and Sports franchises, rather than putting hefty expenditures against a single title.

Media Agency Partner Since 2011

Our work for True Religion has encompassed many brand and product directions and evolutions in media strategy. 

We rebooted strategies to define True Religion in a competitive fashion landscape, by breaking out of the seasonal print world and implementing new tactics from integrated custom content programs with media partners to producing NBA Sports partnerships and TV integrations.


Breaking the Category

In 2016, MODCo became AOR for Brighthouse Financial – the new Metlife. The opportunity to launch an enormous new financial brand was an exciting challenge, particularly with the mandate of “breaking the category” with a new media approach. This was even more challenging as Brighthouse products are not Direct to Consumer, but through Financial Advisors only.


Social Consciousness

Established a new media and activation strategy for this growing business as it rapidly evolves from a charm bracelet company into a complete lifestyle brand. We tapped into the social consciousness of the brand ethos to build an authentic consumer movement around positive energy and community involvement. Sharing transparent, honest details on how the product is made (recycled materials, local talent) built a strong level of trust with consumers, and led to higher participation in social and experiential activities because people felt it was ‘real’ and not just another fashion brand telling them what to wear.

Drove 68% increase in traffic to the site. Sales up during campaign period – 16% in store and 38% online. 49% increase in new customer conversion.

Kenneth cole

Courageous Class

MODCo was brought in to create a revitalized strategy for the relaunch of the iconic Kenneth Cole brand. A big focus was creating a solid comms plan to educate and arm wholesale and licensee partners with the new brand message and creative toolkit. Shifting these partners perception on how to speak about and sell Kenneth Cole was crucial, as the bulk of their business is delivered through them. We tapped into the social awareness voice of Kenneth Cole and lead with the ‘Courageous Class’ characters (featured in the campaign for their bold life choices). Talent featured in the campaign were included in experiential events with both wholesale and consumers to help reinforce the new message and brand position.

In 8 months we increased return on ad spend by 6X, new visitors to the site increased 80%. New stores launched in Sept 2015, and wholesale foot traffic and sales are exceeding goals.

Largest Luxury Online Marketplace

MODCo started working with The RealReal in 2012 when they had 200K members and were fighting for market share. Now they are the world’s largest luxury online marketplace with over 5MM members and counting! We developed advanced digital targeting and acquisition strategies, including the development of a custom DSP to capture the luxury buyer and seller, and high impact experiential, outdoor and social executions to drive buzz and brand value.

In our first year we increased transactions by 1663%, membership from 200K to 2MM, and new customers by 85%. Branding campaigns also drove an increase in social footprint and buzz by 344%.
